Which is great, because ya'll are so talented I want to affix battleaxes to all my fingers and start speaking in a low, growly voice. And then I will get sunglasses that scramble my whole face and sing haunting songs from the woods.

Wait, I'm getting so sidetracked.

I think I am going to try to pay more attention to DeviantArt, but it's hard because it's not very good for most of the mediums I work in (the written word, physical objects, lined doodle papers).

I have drawn some stuff maybe since my last bunch of updates, but nothing I'm particularly proud of. Also, getting any scanner in the world to work is a pain in the butt.

Here's some projects I would like to work on in the coming months, no particular order:

My Own Archnemesis (NaNoWriMo?*)

Cecil and Delia Choose-Your-Own-Adventure (Waiting on Owlings, but I will STOP waiting on her very soon if she doesn't do anything about it).

Johnny Tiberius Collaborative Project with Owlings (SO NEAR COMPLETION, AND OUR NEXT PLANNED THING WILL BE SOOOOOO GREEEEEEAT.)

Boardgame Base. Need to paint the squares and choose vital design elements. Hopefully while in a crazed/magic mental state.

Personal Tarot Deck - I need to put together the elements of this before I can even think about starting. MAYBE purchase a kit, but that seems like cheating. I've wanted this for a while. It'll be a huge project, though, and take a long, long time.

I've also been trying to pull together some kind of drawing party for NIGH ON TWO YEARS NOW, because I need to have times to draw or I won't do it, and my skills have sort of atrophied from my younger self's constant doodling. I will never be able to draw things photorealistically, but I used to have a nice style for comics, which was IDEAL because I still want to do a webcomic and get to meet JJ Rowland and folks.

I'm looking at YOU GUYS. Make a drawing party happen and invite me, because I've failed.



* I'm not sure how I feel about NanoWriMo this year. Last year it sort of obliterated me emotionally by the end of it AND interfered with my schoolwork. This year I need to worry about getting a job again, and my schedule is more flexible but I have way more work to do for school. But I also feel like writing is so goddamn important and the boost I got from NanoWrimo last year was incredible... not just for November but through like February. Input?
